Hey guys, soon I will be needing to upgrade my cams and am doing some research on what is out there.

The manufactures sites dont really tell you much and was wondering what the guys are using whats frot and whats not.

I am also toying with the idea of not going Hi Def and going for a Std Def cam second hand but getting a better unit??

You know what I think.

Don't invest in standard def. If you don't have the money, rather use what you have at the moment. Just looked at your "teaser"... some all time clips in there, pity it's not HD... Get that disc out now, save the cash you make from it and buy something HDV, then make another one for the blu-ray market.

Do you think it worth buying a mini hdv cam? Or are cams like the Z1 and 7 the only route to go.

I would not mind something that shoots in high speed ... for clear slow mo's
