Great viewing of Great White off Durban
HI Guys,
Aquabud had a great experience with a Great whit off Durban yesterday.

"Today (Thursday 29/05/08) Aquabud dived about 3.5 Km off Durban at 11:00 from Calypso. After the dive we were on the dive boat for approximately 30 seconds when we viewed a female Great White on the surface + 6m in length."
Have attached some pics taken quickly from the guys.

Good to see these animals up on the Natal coast again these days. We had a very relaxed white off Sodwana about 2 months ago. Do you think their numbers have grown to the extent that their territories are extending into areas where we are not used to seeing them anymore? In the days of the whaling station off Durban there were plenty around...
